Are you thinking about what to gift your loved ones? We have some tips for you!
Buying Christmas presents can get really complicated when you have people around you who claim to have everything and need nothing. However, a limited financial budget can also cause a problem. For such cases, we offer you a few suggestions for nice and sweet gifts that you can make yourself at home and will surely please everyone who receives them.
Gingerbread mix
The typical smell of gingerbread also belongs to Christmas. Everyone will appreciate this gift, especially when the Christmas goodies run out. Layer the dry ingredients for a gingerbread or other dessert in a jam jar. We recommend our Quick gingerbread .
Layer in the glass:
- 300 g semi-coarse flour
- 12 g Liana baking powder
- 180 g of sugar, we choose cane sugar for the color
- 2-3 PL Liana dark cocoa
- chopped nuts, dried fruit or pieces of chocolate to taste
We close the glass and attach the list of wet ingredients to it:
- 2 eggs
- 300 ml of milk
- 3 tablespoons of jam
Decorated chocolate
Who doesn't love chocolate? Bitter , milky , white . We don't know anyone who wouldn't appreciate this gift. You only need your favorite chocolate, freeze-dried fruit and nuts of your choice. For lovers of spicy food, we recommend a combination of hot chocolate and chili. It is enough to melt the chocolate and pour it ideally into a chocolate mold , but baking paper is also enough, and we decorate it with prepared fruits and nuts. Let it harden. Finally, we wrap the prepared chocolate in a festive way.

Sparkling bath ball
A cold winter evening is perfect for a long bath in the bathtub. If one of your loved ones likes this form of relaxation, he will certainly not disdain a sparkling bath ball. Of course, it is easier to buy it ready-made, but by choosing the right essential oil, you can create a perfect gift for a specific person from a few ingredients.
For the sparkling ball you need:
- 188 g Liana baking soda or Liana baking powder
- 90 g Liana citric acid
- 45 g Liana corn / potato starch
- 7 tbsp coconut oil
- 10 drops of essential oil/fragrance to the soap
- food coloring / cosmetic colors
- ball moulds
Melt the coconut oil, ideally in a water bath. Add all the dry ingredients to the melted oil. It is best to mix the food coloring in a little clean water, then mix it together with the essential oil to the mixture. The mixture should neither be too wet nor loose, it should resemble wet sand, from which you can create the most beautiful "cakes". We fill the molds for balls, let them dry and finally wrap them up for Christmas.
Decorations from cold porcelain
You can also involve your little ones in the preparation of this gift, after all, only they have the most experience working with plasticine. Christmas decorations, as well as gift tags, can be made by mixing a mug of boiling water with a mug of cornstarch and a mug of baking soda . Then cook the mixture until a thick mass is formed. Let it cool down to a temperature that we have no problem working with, roll it out and cut out Christmas shapes . Let it dry at room temperature. Cold porcelain looks great even in its natural white color, but there are no limits to your imagination, you can color them according to your own preferences.
